Palakh's nani was quizzing her on animal sounds. Doggie kya karta hai? Bow wow. Cat? Meow. Wolf? Aaaouu and so on. When it came to hippos, she replied, tickle tickle. Too many stories of hippos tickling children, apparently.

Meanwhile, when Somin was asked to put some tea leaves into containers as organic matter he asked, "Will tea grow?"

So Palakh, says her mother, has suddenly developed a love for dogs. Initially, she pestered her mum for a 'pink puppy' (what else), then she started petting dogs everywhere she went.
On April 1 she went around dragging two strings of wool all over the place and was really upset when one of the strings was lost. When asked why she was crying, she said, "I've lost my Charlie and Chilli Sauce (both imaginary dogs)."
